左右艺术区在在北京朝阳区和通县的交界处，是由一个旧的小型工厂改建，在2006年该艺术区的开幕展上，颜磊在园区大门口处的一座楼的墙面上，剔除了部分墙面装饰瓷砖，呈现出了这个展览的主题Debate，暴露出了历史与现状的矛盾和处境。（该建筑建于七十年代，九十年代又进行了翻新装修，颜磊剔除的是九十年代新贴上去的装饰瓷砖，使七十年代原有的墙面暴露出来。）
Left Right Art zone is located at the junction of Chaoyang District and Tongxian County in Beijing. It was converted from an old small factory. At the opening exhibition of this art zone in 2006,Yan Lei removed several parts of decorative tiles, which are on the wall of a building at the gate of the park. Then it appeared to be Debate, the theme of the exhibition, also revealed the contradiction and situation between history and the present. (The building was built in the 1970s and refurbished in the 1990s. Yan Lei removed the decorative tiles that were newly attached in the 1990s, exposing the original walls of the 1970s.)
